Terms and conditions

Bookdealers is a book trading company that deals with 2nd hand, remainders and publisher-returns (hurts).

Remainders and publishers-returns may have imperfections, please read the condition report and accompanying information (Binding, Description). Bookdealers will not be held responsible for any imperfections, when you purchase any products you are agreeing to have understood this disclaimer and will not hold Bookdealers liable for any imperfections.

Remainders are un-used books in pristine condition, which we purchase directly from the publisher. Originally, the term 'remainders' was used to indicate books that 'remained' at a publisher's warehouse after other copies had sold. Today, remainders include many excellent, recognizable titles from quality publishers, all at heavily discounted prices.

“Publisher-returns” (hurts) refers to books that, for one reason or another, were returned to the publisher's warehouse from the retail outlets. Publisher-returns cannot be considered brand new books, but we are careful to sort out any damaged copies. Publisher-returns often have a mark, such as a dot or a small line, on the edge of the book.
